Hello. I am wanting to start a kids club in our city. There are no kid friendly activities in our area and I want to change that. I would like to have a safe,fun place for kids of all ages to come and meet new friends and have fun. I would have a variety of activities available such as learning about rocks and minerals,painting,doing puzzles,small woodworking projects and gold panning. Gold panning is becoming a lost art. The excitement of seeing a shiny gold speck or picker really gets kids excited. I would have gold panning available for those that wanted to participate in learning the skill of finding real gold. It may sound a bit crazy to some of you but I can guarantee when a kid or adult sees real gold they get excited. Who wouldn't want to gold pan just like the old timers did it and find real gold to keep and show off? Our kids are our future and we should do everything we can to teach them and make sure they have fun. I would also provide plenty of snacks for the kids. As we all know some kids get lunch at school and go home and may not get enough food that night. I would make sure no kid left my place hungry.
