Starting a new business
In January I was laid off. It was a gut punch—but also the push I needed to build the future I’ve been talking about for years. I’ve been working day and night to launch my new business, a residential solar company that helps families save money with no-upfront-cost PPA options and gets installs done faster with in-house project management.
My track record: my first company was closing 60–80 deals a week at its peak. After moving from Arizona to Texas three years ago, I ran operations for a Houston installer. Now I’m stepping out on my own again—this time to build something enduring for my wife, our two kids, and the homeowners we serve.
What your support makes possible (next 4–5 months):
- Secure a small office and stand up an offshore call center (150+ qualified appointments/month).
- Recruit and train sales reps so we can scale quickly and responsibly.
- Bridge the 3–4 month cash cycle from sale to final payment so momentum doesn’t stall.
Every bit helps—$25 keeps the lights on; $100 funds a day of lead generation; $500+ powers a week of appointments that turn into real savings for real families.
I am also willing to give equity in the company to anyone that offers a sizable donation. Message me for the details and we can work out a deal.
If you can’t give, a share, an intro to a homeowner considering solar, or a word of encouragement means the world. I’ll post regular updates on milestones, installs, and exactly how funds are used—full transparency.
Thank you for believing in me. This isn’t just about starting a business after a setback; it’s about building something that helps families save money and moves our communities toward clean energy. With your help, we’ll get there.
With gratitude,
Jeremy
