My name is Denise Merck, and I am in need of help to get my dreams off the ground.  I love to draw, and paint, and I've been told I'm pretty good at it.  So I would like to build up my portfolio, (the photo is of a 4'x5' mural I did in my son's room) and start my own business doing murals, custom artwork, decorative painting, and hand lettering.

I'm planning on completing 2 other murals in my own home to add to my portfolio, and am asking friends and colleagues to consider adding my work to their home/office for the exposure.  However, art supplies are expensive, and I need pretty much everything, just to get started.   Brushes, paints, cleaning supplies, sketchpads, etc.  The funds would go towards supplies, business cards, brochures, and setting up a website to showcase my work.
