Stay Strong for Robert
Hi everyone,
I am helping to organize this fundraiser for Robert Davis, one of the most important people in my life, a person I view as one of my family members. Robert is in need of help with medical bills and expenses. Back in December, 2022, Robert suffered a stroke, and he lost movement in his right leg, arm and hand. At the time, he was living in Florida, working full-time as an electrician and part-time at a restaurant to earn extra money. He has been unable to work ever since his stroke and had to move back to Indianapolis to stay with my mom because he needed assistance. He has been going to physical therapy every day and is getting better, but his doctor told him last week that he will not be able to go back to work for at least six more months. Unfortunately, he cannot get unemployment in Indiana because he was last working in Florida, and he has not been able to get disability. He has also burned through all of his savings. His medical bills are starting to roll in now, and he needs to keep up with his child support, car payment, and credit card payment. Last night, he told me how much he wants to work and that he “feels like a burden” because he can't work. He's very stressed about how he will be able to pay his bills, so I decided to help him get this fundraiser started to help him. He has done so much to support me and my family over the years, and now we'd like to help him. I know times are tough for a lot of people with inflation and all, but if you are able to make any kind of donation, it will help Robert so much.
My sincerest gratitude! Jenny Nolen
