If you know Lindsay, you will know, she would never ask for this, and will have a hard time accepting it. Lindsay is a pick yourself up by your boot straps type of woman, and has never faced something that she has not been able to overcome. She is an incredibly hard worker, she is a woman of God, a wonderful mother, daughter, friend, and I have the honor of calling her my sister.

Lindsay has been given 3 wonderful children, and her oldest Steele uses a wheel chair. He turned 10 this year, and up until recently she has been able to transfer him from chair to chair, including her van, with ease, but even the strongest people have watched her move him with awe. This has been increasingly more difficult as he grows, and removing this from her shoulders (and arms, and back, and legs) would no doubt be a blessing for their family.

I would love to surround her family with love, and bless them with this gift of accessibility, and independence for Steele they all long to have. I know times are tough for everyone right now, so I thank each of you for sacrificing to help Lindsay's family. If you know someone who you think would like to participate, please forward it along.

I called a local Louisiana company called FastServ who sells, and converts vans for families. She let me know the price for the van its self is around 42k. After taxes, and fees, my goal for this fundraiser will cover the entire amount. I know this is a TON of money, but if we can all give a little, I know this will bless their family a whole lot.
