Steve Jewell Fundraiser

Hello! My name is Taylor Riggs and I am creating this fundraiser on behalf of my father, Steve Jewell Sr. On April 2nd, 2025, my father was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma cancer, originating from the esophagus and metastasized to his liver and brain. My father has already had one surgery to remove the massive brain tumor and has had 5 treatments of radiation to his brain. On may 29th he will begin chemotherapy to treat the remaining disease in his esophagus and liver. As you can imagine, this has been a devastating shock to our family. My father is one of the hardest working, selfless, and most humble humans you would ever meet. He is a pillar in our community for his talents in music and sharing his gift with others and on the sidelines has spent many years providing plumbing assistance for friends and family even long after he left his plumbing career out of the kindness of his heart for others. He has orchestrated many benefits to help others, including for his grandson who has also battled cancer, because that’s just who he is. His heart is as wide as the ocean for the ones he loves and now it’s our turn to step up and do something for him in return! He is currently only receiving short term disability which is only providing him 60% of his normal income which is a huge hit financially. I am creating this fund to help him and my bonus mom and provide them with the means they deserve to cover the cost of his cancer treatments, bills, groceries and gas to get back and forth to his appointments. We appreciate every dollar put towards his recovery! Above all else, please keep him in your deepest prayers that God will work his miraculous healing in his body and restore him to health and wellness! We appreciate your love and support more than we can express!
