Steve Jackson a dedicated husband, father of 2, and stepfather of 1, has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma Multiforme as of December 18, 2017. A day planned for finishing up Christmas shopping turned into an ER visit and a week-long stay in the TICU. He's a 16 year Air Force veteran. He's a manager in the Communications department of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and has been with the agency for 17 years total. He is a diehard Minnesota Vikings fan. He loves watching football and baseball, as well as WWE. He also enjoys running, spending time with his family, walking his dog Lacy, and going to air shows. Steve is the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back and do whatever he could to help someone. He always puts the wants and needs of others before himself. Steve and his wife, Tammy, are determined to fight this cancer, staying positive and telling everyone they know “We got this!”.

This was a shocking blow to the family with almost no symptoms preceding the diagnosis. Funds donated are helping to offset the cost of copays and treatment as Steve will be receiving both chemotherapy and radiation 5 days per week, with possible blood work each day as well.
