Steven Shoemaker was more than just an educator at Channelview High School. He was a mentor, a coworker, and a guiding force for many. He lived a life of service, always putting others before himself. Countless students can credit him for helping them secure scholarships, get accepted into college, and navigate important milestones with encouragement and wisdom. His colleagues remember him as a steady rock, always willing to support and uplift those around him.

Sadly, Mr. Shoemaker passed away shortly after his birthday. With no family members to handle arrangements, the responsibility of honoring him falls to those whose lives he touched. This fundraiser will help cover funeral and memorial expenses, and any remaining funds will be dedicated to a charity or scholarship in his name, ensuring his legacy of giving continues.
