Stevie Ball and Kristi Shaw
I'm Stevie's mom Teresa Alford and he was in automobile accident on August 28, 2018 he has a laceration to his spleen and we found out he has several fractured ribs he was sent to University hospital here in Jackson, Ms last Friday. He has not been able to work since the accident they have a 3 month old baby girl and there here in Jackson and have expired what fund's they had while at hospital eating,gas to and from, parkingng and thing that were needed I normally would not ask but they need a little money to get his medicine gas to go to doctor diapers for baby and food until they can get on food stamps and the baby on TANF and Kristi is a nurse and she will be going back to work in the next few weeks. I myself am on disability and as you know it's not a lot but I'm broke until the 3 rd when I get my check all we are asking for is a few dollars until then and we can make it ok when I get my check...if someone can loan it to them I'll pay it back when I get my check... They decided since the spleen is not bleeding anymore not to drain his lungs and stomach his body will eventually absorb it all in time the infection is better his spleen is very inlarged and he has lot of old blood collected in his stomach making it very hard for him to breath because it is all pushing against his diafram he is in a lot of pain from the spleen and so miserable from all the fluid and blood he's swollen very much the doctor's here said the spleen should have been taken out when it was detected at first that if he had came here he most definitely would have taken it out but as he said all doctor's do things different so with all that said we just have to do whatever it takes for him to recover he is coming home here in Florence with his family today but he has a long haul ahead of him we know at least 4-6 weeks and see where he is then he will go back to doctor here in two weeks. They are saying possibly 2-3 months. But we all know it is all up to the good Lord above. We appreciate and accept all the prayers your sending up and anyone who might be able to help us get over this little hump in our path God Bless you all and Thank you all in advance in whatever way you may decide to help us out...Also they are trying to quit smoking so proud of them both so when you send up those prayers just ask God to Deliver them from this also...
