Stevie's Run Fund
Meet Stevie the borzoi puppy. She just had her 1st birthday (Happy Birthday Stevie!) Stevie loves the snow, tummy rubs, zoomies, chewing up her Daddy's shoes, chasing the cat around the house, watching reality TV, her friends at dog daycare, and most of all her parents Max and Anna.
Max and Anna love Stevie so much there isn't anything they wouldn't do for her, including draining their small savings to take her to the emergency vet and specialists after a freak accident at dog daycare uncovered intervertebral disc disease. They picked her up after work and noticed her limping and whimpering and without hesitation took her to the emergency vet, where scans showed injuries to her spine and hips. She was put on immediate orders to stay still or risk permanent paralysis. She's going to be taking it easy until she can visit a specialist, which will determine the course of action to get Stevie doing those zoomies again.
As you can imagine, the vet visits, specialist visits, treatments, medications, and time from work is more than Max and Anna can manage on their modest incomes. Max works at a farm to table restaurant as a chef and Anna is a middle school teacher. They are asking their family, friends and pet loving humans of all kind to help them cover the expenses associated with Stevie's care. They need $10,000 or as Stevie would say “500 million belly rubs and a pair of slippers to chew on”. If you can donate to Stevie's zoomies, we would be so appreciative and grateful.
Thank you for reading and considering.
