Facing eviction is hard and while in the end, it usually means you have to move, this sweet person needs help to make way for retention of her residence. For people who are struggling with and trying to juggle all the things life throws our way, being in an eviction crisis can be emotionally crippling. So many how’s, when’s, and where’s to figure out. The best resolution: no need to move because the financial part has been resolved; past due rent paid. This is where friends and strangers come together and help.

For this one special woman and friend, I ask that we lift her up with the help she needs. For the last year she has had worked to manage a household that had 2 incomes and is now just one. This is how life led to an eviction crisis. Changes are in the works to help prevent crisis in the future.

My goal is to raise more than what is past due, plus the legal fees so that she can refresh with a bit more stability. I like to set the bar high because I know our community can move mountains!
