Hello all!

Today we found this little kitten outside of an apartment complex. She was laying on the ground motionless with ants crawling on her. At first it seemed as though she wasn't alive but thankfully she was! Her eyes were shut and gooey and her back left foot swollen and crusted over. We immediately took her to the vet to get her checked up. She has an upper respiratory infection, an eye infection, parasites and an infected foot. She was tested for FIV and is negative. Right now she is on oral antibiotics and eye drops twice a day, along with an initial dose of dewormer. She needs x-rays of her foot and if it is severely damaged, amputation...

We weren't expecting to take on such a large expense right now, especially since we have a baby, but we couldn't let this poor creature suffer. We decided to love her and take her in. Especially if she loses part of her limb she would have a difficult time being adopted or worse, someone could have decided to put her down.

Please help contribute to her medical expenses as we would love to permanently home her even if she has special needs due to her injury. <3
