Stroke Recovery Support
Last month, I unexpectedly had a stroke, and everything changed overnight. I spent 10 days in the hospital, and then just 10 days later I was back in the hospital again for 3 more days after developing severe vertigo and nausea. The doctors needed to run more tests to make sure I was not having another stroke.
Since then, I have been placed on disability for 3 months, which has reduced my income by 50%. At the same time, medical bills keep arriving in the mail every week, even after insurance has paid its portion. I am doing my best to focus on healing my body and brain, but the financial pressure has become overwhelming.
Day to day, this has been incredibly stressful because I am also caring for my two little ones. Trying to manage rent, utilities, food, and other household expenses while recovering has left me exhausted.
Because this need continues over the next few months, ongoing support would make a real difference in helping me keep up with regular household expenses while my income is reduced. Recurring donations would help me stay current on essentials like rent, utilities, and food during my recovery, and one-time donations would also help ease the burden of both daily living costs and the medical bills that continue to come in.
If you are able to help, whether through a recurring donation, a one-time gift, or by sharing this fundraiser, I would be deeply grateful. Your support would help me care for my children, keep up with basic needs, and focus on healing during this difficult time. Thank you so much for your kindness and consideration. I truly appreciate you! ❤️
