2025 was one of the hardest years of my life. I lost my mom to kidney failure and I left a very abusive relationship. He never hit me, but abused me in every other way. Including financially. With the high cost of everything, I am juggling to pay my rent and my car. I’ve had to take out loans I can’t pay back just to not lose my car and everything else. I had to borrow against my Thrift savings at work and so I’m not making my full paycheck so, it’s making the struggle even harder. If I had a clean slate and was making my full paycheck, I could survive on my own, but just my car and rent alone are such a struggle right now. I’m working over time which is helping some, but not near enough.
