Hello, my name is Veronica, I’m 49 years old and live in northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I’ve been on disability since 2012. I have been dealing with various illnesses like rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and follicular lymphoma- a type of non Hodgkin lymphoma. I underwent 2 biopsies and 6 months of chemo that ended in September 2024. I’m currently on maintenance treatment since October 2024. The maintenance treatment is every 2 months for 2 years.

I own my house and live with my fiancée and his son-my stepson. We’re both individually and as a family struggling financially. I’ve been personally dealing with stress, menopause, and an elderly mother whose health has been declining significantly within the past two years. I’m the one closest to her to assist her as much as I can, but for me it’s difficult at times because I easily get fatigued.

My partner is doing all he can do to provide, and it seems like he’s been working every single day for the past two years. It isn’t easy nor fair, but here we are.

I don’t usually like to put my business out there, but it’s gotten difficult 😞 and we could definitely use the extra help.
