Student loan/divorce nightmare
Hi. My name is Tim. I was a happy, married man, willing to anything for his family. So I consolidated my wife's large amount of loans (she was almost finished with a masters degree) and co-signed to get a great interest rate.
Fast forward a couple years, she cheated on me and took everything...except our debt! She convinced the judge to put it 100% on me! Now I owe $105,000 in student loans! I'm 43 years old and have to pay whatever I have extra for the next 20 years. Saving for retirement? Forget about it! Buy a house? NOPE! Gotta pay the loan off first. Period.
I need help! Any money raised here will go to pay off the loan...please help!
