My name is Jordyn Del Rosario, I have been selected for a “study abroad” trip to see first-hand, the evidence of climate change in the Patagonia Region of Chile. Our team will then translate that evidence to reflect the effects of climate change on a more global scale. As a geosciences major, participating in this type of geological study is more than just something I am interested in. It is my passion to learn as much as I can about the effects of climate change and ultimately pursue a career in an environmental discipline.

This is an amazing opportunity for me to contribute to research linking river sediments, catastrophic floods, and climate change, as well as learn about the culture of the Patagonian lifestyle.
