Study Abroad Fall 2021

As a French major at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, studying abroad in France has been a dream of mine for quite a while. Although my scholarships cover my direct costs of studying abroad, there are still expensive indirect costs that I am unable to afford. The costs are as follows:

  • Application fee: $100
  • Confirmation deposit: $500
  • Student visa: approximately $180
  • Round trip airfare: varies $800-$1,500


Thankfully, I already have a passport thanks to a wonderful cohort that I am participating in.

Although studying abroad isn't required for my program, I would benefit immensely from this opportunity. As many of you know, French has been my biggest passion since high school, and I would be beyond ecstatic to be able to finally pursue my dreams.
