With the rates of deaths by suicide in our small communities rising and the weight of the world right now upon all, we decided to do something about it. The funds from this fundraiser will be put directly back into community, with the goal of instilling a sense of hope, recognition and belonging. You are not alone and are deserving of receiving support and care.

We believe in uplifting and supporting the needs, well-being, health, and dignity of every person. Whether you are a parent whose income has dried up, a struggling freelancer, a student who is feeling lost and hopeless about the future, or enduring any other financial strife during these times of crisis, please feel free to share your story and ask for whatever financial help you need. We know not everyone will get the help they ask for, but we want people to have the opportunity to ask, and also the opportunity to help.

The stories shared with us are not vetted for accuracy, we do not have the capacity to confirm every story or need requested, nor do we wish to intrude on people's lives or want to create barriers in the process of trying to dismantle them. We believe that helping each other get basic needs met is worth the risk. Your willingness and desire to contribute in anyway possible, helps meet that goal of meeting people where they are at and getting their immediate needs/crises tended to.

We are all in this together, we are in solidarity and in reciprocity with one another, our existence individually is dependent on the existence of others within our community and beyond. No one, not one single person, is disposable. You matter. Your needs matter. By depending on one another, caring for each other in ways big and small, we can save each other's lives and see a future we are proud to be a part of.
