Sunburst Play Cafe
Our philosophy is that all children need to play. Our society is getting more dependent on doing activities while sitting. This prohibits the benefits that the body receives while getting up and moving. Sunburst Play Cafe will offer a safe, fun environment where everyone can play and have fun!
Sunburst Play Cafe will be a parent/guardian supervised indoor playground that offers activities devoted to the physical, emotional, and social development of children. We plan to have a large (12 foot or higher) play structure that includes slides, tunnels, and climbing for the children. We will also have a toddler area for ages 1-3 where the child can explore and play in safety. We hope to also have a small area just for infants. In addition, we will have snacks, beverages, pizza, and other food for sale. We will have two "party rooms" devoted to private birthday parties, but they will also be available for people in the local community to hold classes for a low fee.
For Sunburst Play Cafe to thrive, we need start up money! A large play structure is very expensive- because it will last! They are designed to hold a lot of weight, withstand frequent use, and remain sturdy through many, many hours of play. We need to pay fees associated with start-up businesses (legal, licensing, insurance, etc), along with purchasing furnishings, appliances, and other equipment. We appreciate all the help we can get!
