Support a Seminarian
Support My Family as I Continue Seminary
As I prepare for my second year of seminary, I’m working to bring my family to live with me after a year spent apart.
My name is Andrew Collard, and I am a seminarian at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary. Over the past year, I have been living apart from my wife and our five children while pursuing my calling. It has been a difficult sacrifice for all of us. By God’s grace, I now have the opportunity to bring them to live with me as I begin my second year in fall 2026—but I need help to make that possible.
Three of our children have special needs, and our youngest is still an infant, so my wife is fully dedicated to caring for them. While my tuition is covered with the generous help of my diocese and home parish, the financial reality of supporting a family of seven in this next season is beyond what we can manage on our own.
This fundraiser will help cover essential needs, including:
- Summer living expenses (when I do not have student loan support)
- Moving costs to bring my family to Yonkers
- Initial housing expenses and rent for married student housing
- Homeschooling and basic furnishings/items for our children
- Ongoing living expenses during the school year
More than anything, this effort is about reuniting our family and allowing me to continue preparing for a life of service to the Church with stability and focus.
Your support—no matter the amount—will make a real and immediate difference for us. Thank you for your prayers, your generosity, and for helping us take this next step together.
We are deeply grateful for any support, and for your prayers above all.
