When we received the news that Brian Barnes (BB) had multiple myeloma, all we heard was cancer. We were all devastated and truly concerned for him. As things began to settle and we understood more, we learned that we could fight this. BB can fight and do things to help put this disease in remission. Those "things" however, involve lots of medication. BB and I were having a conversation and in that conversation, I learned how, although he had great insurance, it was still very expensive to fight this disease. Deductibles need to be met and once they're met, 20% of thousands of dollars adds up. Especially when you need cancer medication on a weekly basis. Those of you who know BB, know that he would not ask anyone for financial support under any circumstances. He would rather work 100 hours a week to find a way. His close friends decided to ask him and his amazing wife, Donna, permission to do this. They were appreciative and support our efforts to help BB and ask you as well. So, we are here asking for your support by donating money to the Barnes family to continue to buy all the medication necessary to fight this disease and put it into remission.
