Support Cyrus and Charlie
Our beloved Charlie passed on January 4, 2021. Charlie was an amazing father, son, brother, uncle, and friend who left behind his two sons, Peyton(15 yrs. old) and Tyler(16 yrs old). Charlie enjoyed taking the boys out sightseeing, trying new restaurants, a fanatic for the Chargers, Lakers, anyone famous and an avid poker player. He lived his life and heart to the fullest, unfortunately his body could not keep up. He fought a good fight for many years. As many of you know his two boys helped him everyday to relieve him from the thought of his pain. His mother Ida was his biggest supporter and his caretaker until the very end. No one could ever replace Peyton and Tyler's father, and fortunately Charlie's parents (Cyrus and Ida) were always there to help and support them. Charlie's parents made a vow to care for the boys no matter what.
In an unfortunate turn of events Charlie's father,Cyrus also passed away on January 19, 2021-15 days following Charlie's passing. Cyrus leaves behind a loving and supportive wife, two daughters(Sharon and AC), two son in laws and was the loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren. He was an exceptional husband, father, papa, uncle, godfather, and friend. He was always there when someone needed a place to stay, drink, golf, bowl, eat, sing, or just chat. If you knew him, you knew he was genuine.
Both Charlie and Cyrus will be greatly missed and will forever be in the hearts and minds of those they came in contact with....As humble as the Canlas family is - Please consider donating if you are able to do so. We want to give Charlie and Cyrus the memorial they deserve, to honor their memory and say our last goodbyes. Proceeds of the fundraising will be evenly be divided to help with this tragic loss for both funerals. The remaining funds will be put forth to Charlie's sons Peyton and Tyler, for their future education goals. We would like to THANK YOU in advance during this difficult time. Any support will be greatly appreciated by the Canlas Family.
