Hello everyone,

My name is Michelle and I am the mother of three beautiful girls and our miracle son on his way. We are beyond excited to announce the newest addition to our family - Enoch!!

I would like to introduce myself to you and share our journey.

My pregnancy scans were all normal up until 26 weeks when an ultrasound showed enlarged kidneys and no amniotic fluid. I was admitted to the OB Emergency at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, we were then sent to Shands UF in Gainesville for further observation. After several weeks of genetic testing and monitoring, they have found our baby has a rare genetic kidney disorder that is affecting both his kidneys and his bladder. Enoch has Multicystic Dysplastic Kidney (bilateral MCDK). We will be going back to Shands in Gainesville at 33 weeks and again for the birth so Enoch can instantly start dialysis after birth. I will be admitted to Shands in Gainesville at 36 weeks for the delivery. We are not sure at the time what the road ahead of us will look like as we have been told by his Medical team that this is going to be a long and bumpy road as our son will require daily dialysis until he is “big enough” for a kidney transplant. Enoch has to be at least 22 lbs before qualifying for his life-saving kidney transplant so, in the meantime, he will be receiving Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) to do the job of his kidneys.

We have set up this fundraiser to help cover the costs for his NICU stay, ongoing care throughout dialysis leading up to his kidney transplant, the kidney transplant itself, and all long-term costs related to his medical journey. Our goal for this fund is to alleviate some of the financial burden that comes with an unexpected, life-long diagnosis and required time away from work, so we can focus on our perfect bundle of joy and spend the much needed time by Enoch's side.

Enoch is a fighter and continues to show us that miracles can happen every day!!
