Support for Adam
Cancer. Cancer is never a word you want to be told in your 30's. But after months of pain that would come and go, walking around in 80 degree weather with a winter coat on and still freezing, multiple doctors visits with no conclusive results; At last, the culprit has finally been revealed. Some people call it "ALK" a shortened version of Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. It wasn't easy to find this bad boy in the beginning, it took months of biopsies, testing, trial treatments, and lots of frustration and worry. While it is a blessing to finally know what is going on, the next step to treating ALK is harrowing to say the least.
For Adam, a man who gives his life for his country by serving in the Army, who serves his community as an ER nurse; it now seems that it is our time to give back to him. A long tough road lies ahead of him, one that includes Chemotherapy and steroid treatments, hair loss, nausea, and weakness to name just a few. During difficult times like these, we are called to help; especially to those we care about most, and we must stand alongside them during their times of trial. Right now, it is time that we send love and support to Adam; whether it be money, time, meals, or assistance, we can help ease the burden, and provide encouragement through this crucial time. Anything is appreciated, and we are very thankful for all of your prayers, love and support for Adam.
