I am excited to share a door that God’s opened in my life for this year. I have been accepted into Patriot Academy’s Patriot Institute Class of 2026-2027, an eight-month residential program in Texas that is heavily focused on developing young leaders of strong character, biblical conviction, and a deep understanding of America’s founding principles.

Through the generosity of Patriot Institute supporters, I have already received a $15,000 scholarship towards the cost of the program. I am incredibly grateful and humbled by this investment in me and the opportunity it has made possible.

As part of my commitment to attend, I am responsible for raising the remaining $5,000 of my tuition by October 1st as well as covering my own books, living expenses, and transportation.

For those who may know me, asking others to financially invest in me is incredibly difficult. It’s outside of my comfort zone for sure. With this said I have been encouraged by my advisors to reach out to people who have been a part of my life and who may want to partner with me in this opportunity.

I believe that I am called to actively pursue truth above all else, to love and know Jesus, continue to grow in my love and understanding of Him and make Him known to the ends of the earth. I believe that God has given me a place among the students at Patriot Institute to engage and grow deeper in the things God desires me to know for His purposes, whatever they may be.

It is with humility that I accept this opportunity to be allowed a seat among them as a student, patriot and brother in Christ. Patriot Academy’s mission is to raise strong Christian leaders through academics, training, and development built upon apologetics, biblical citizenship, and American history among other core disciplines.

I would be honored if you would consider partnering with me financially.

Every gift makes a difference. Whether that is $5, $20, $200, or another amount, each contribution brings me one step closer to being fully funded for the year. Any donations beyond the $5,000 will go towards books and living expenses during my time at Patriot Academy.

More than simply helping pay my tuition, your support is an investment in the person and leader I am working to become. I hope to become a leader who fears God, loves His word, emulates his character, and kindly speaks truths into the lives of others.

If you are unable to give financially, I would also deeply appreciate your prayers – for me, for the other scholars, and for everything God will do through this year. Some specific prayer requests are for a vehicle, a job once I move on campus, and physical, mental, and spiritual endurance.

Thank you for taking the time to consider being a part of this journey with me. I look forward to sharing what I learn and how I grow throughout the coming year.

With gratitude,

Elijah Reed
