Someone very close to me is going through an incredibly difficult time right now. He suffered a major shoulder injury, including a torn rotator cuff and he’s been told he can’t use his left arm at all for several weeks. His job is entirely physical, so being unable to work has left him in a really vulnerable spot.

He’s the kind of person who works hard, always helps those in need, and would never ask for help on his own. Right now he’s doing everything he can to follow the doctor’s orders and heal the right way. But with rent coming up, the stress of not knowing how he’ll get through the month is weighing heavily on him.

I’m creating this fundraiser simply to help cover one month of rent and necessary expenses so he can focus on healing instead of pushing himself back to work too soon and risking permanent damage. He deserves the chance to recover safely, without fear or pressure hanging over him, making it in this capitalist society is hard as we all know😥
