Our friend Courtney Lysette Rodriguez Butler needs our help! For those of you who don't know, the last few years she has struggled to control a very early onset of Type II diabetes. It is a genetic condition and difficult to manage. On occasion, she finds herself in the hospital with complications like diabetic ketoacidosis. These hospital stays are incredibly expensive, and while she and her husband are working hard to get herself on insurance, this recent bout has caught her without coverage. Stress also makes diabetes hard to manage. We are hoping to rally the community to give she and Josh a little cushion while their ACA coverage is processing.
