We are coming together as a family to support our dear friend and colleague, Jorge Ramos, who recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of his father — the patriarch of the Ramos family.

Losing a parent is one of life’s most difficult experiences — a loss that leaves an irreplaceable void and a grief that words can hardly capture. During this time of sorrow, we want Jorge and his family to know they are not alone.

Anyone who has worked alongside Jorge knows what a remarkable person he is. He embodies kindness, humility, and compassion in everything he does. Jorge has always been the first to lend a helping hand, the first to listen, and the first to encourage others through their own challenges. His generosity of spirit and genuine care for others have touched so many within the Cal Poly Pomona community and beyond.

Now, it’s our turn to give back to someone who has given so much of himself to others. This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden of funeral and burial expenses as the Ramos family says goodbye to their beloved father. In a moment when no one should have to worry about financial strain, our collective support can help provide comfort and stability as they grieve and begin to heal.
