I am asking for help to support Isabella's journey with inpatient physical rehab for the fibro adipose vascular anomaly on her left knee, as well as building her a safer adaptive bathroom so that she may attend to her hygiene needs. Isabella was diagnosed with the PTEN mutation when she was 4 years old, and complex regional syndrome just last year, she has since underwent surgery on her left knee, yearly thyroid ultra sounds, yearly knee MRI's, an EEG, and a brain MRI. She sees a multidisciplinary team of doctors of Texas Children's and she is in the approval process for inpatient physical rehabilitation. Isabella has not walked independently in 4 years. My goal is to get her the help she needs this summer through inpatient physical therapy and by creating a more comfortable living environment for her at home. Hygiene has been a big issue since she cannot comfortably use a bathtub, she requires a walk in shower with a safety bar and a seat, with her being immunocompromised due to her medications, showering is very important. I pray we are able to afford all that she needs so she may feel her very best. Isabella has big dreams, but her health and physical limitations have slowed her down.
