For over a year, Kristina has been dealing with several health conditions that have made it so she cannot work and is often housebound. In the past few months, care providers helped discover that she is not digesting and absorbing key nutrients. Adding vitamins has helped reduce some of the pain, fatigue, slow hair loss, but she is not truly well. Her diet is limited to 20 foods that still cause mild allergic reactions, but they are not meeting her nutritional needs.

While waiting for specialists to help determine the "why", she's had relief by eating hypoallergenic formula for at least one meal a day. It provides complete nutrition. Essential Care Jr. is the only food she is eating in the past year that has not caused an allergic reaction or pain. 

This very specialized food costs $60 a day, atop the medications and vitamins that are keeping her alive and out of the hospital.
