Help Me and My Children Start Over Safely

I’m reaching out because my children and I are facing the possibility of homelessness after having to leave Tennessee and start completely over.

I had to make the difficult decision to leave behind our home, belongings, and everything familiar after a serious domestic violence situation that made me fear for my safety and the safety of my children.

We had to walk away from so much just to get somewhere we could try to rebuild our lives.

I am now in a new area with my children, trying desperately to find stable housing and get us back on our feet. I have a job starting soon, and I am doing everything I can to become financially independent again. Unfortunately, getting to that first paycheck is the hardest part.

Right now, I need help covering temporary housing and other basic necessities for my children while I get established.

I’m not asking for help because I don’t want to work. I am working to get back on my feet. I just need a little help getting through this transition so my children and I can have a safe and stable place to live while I start my new job.
