Help My Accident Recovery

In early December 2025, I was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident that has had a longer-lasting impact than I ever expected.

While I’m incredibly grateful that my brain CTs and MRIs have come back clear, recovery hasn’t been simple. I’m continuing to deal with symptoms from a concussion—especially dizziness, migraines, and brain fog—as well as ongoing orthopedic concerns. Because of this, I’m still in active treatment and rehabilitation.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve been working hard in physical therapy multiple days a week and following up with SO MANY specialists. If everything goes right, the plan is to begin a gradual return to work after Easter, starting with limited hours and slowly building back up to fulltime as my body allows. Right now, I’m not able to drive, and my daily routines are still pretty restricted.

Due to the level of injury and the support I’ve needed day-to-day, Rachel has had to step away from work to help care for me during this time. Her support has been essential to my recovery, but it has also impacted our household income.

The combination of:

  • Ongoing medical care (physical therapy, imaging, specialist visits)
  • Reduced work hours during recovery
  • Rachel stepping away from work to provide care
  • Everyday expenses while I regain full function
  • The unexpected cost of replacing my vehicle after the accident

has created a financial gap (after exhausting all our savings) that we’re still working to manage.

I went back and forth about sharing this, but several people have asked how they could help. So I’m putting this out there for anyone who would like to support my recovery during this weird in-between phase.

There is absolutely no pressure at all—your encouragement, prayers, check-ins, and even sharing this means just as much to me.

If you do choose to give, please know how deeply appreciated it is. It truly helps us focus on healing and getting back to full strength.

Thank you for being part of my support system—it means more than I can say.
