Our beloved Tyler has been on a long bumpy medical journey these past few years. Unfortunately it seems that the stress of chemo has triggered his Lyme disease to return, and he's heading back in for a series of treatments over the next few months that are not covered by insurance. Between Lyme and cancer, Tyler has already spent around $200k on medical care and is feeling pretty demoralized at the prospect of more.

It's hard having a loved one go through medical issues and not knowing how to help. So this fundraiser is to pool funds toward things Tyler would love to do if money weren't going to treatment- rebuilding out his van, renting a workshop for a few months to work on a creative project, and/or catching up on retirement savings.

This fundraiser will be a surprise for his birthday on September 24th. Any contribution, big or small, is a way to show Tyler he's not alone in this, and if you'd rather just send him love and support directly that would be wonderfully supportive as well.
