Stand With Dawn in Her Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello friends and family,

Our coworker and dear friend Dawn is currently battling Stage 3 breast cancer, which has spread to her lymph nodes. Her Ki-67 tumor proliferation marker is 80%, indicating a highly aggressive cancer.

Last month, Dawn underwent surgery and has now begun six months of chemotherapy treatments.

At just 49 years old, this diagnosis has completely turned her world upside down. Through everything, Dawn has shown incredible courage, grace, and strength — but the physical, emotional, and financial toll of cancer treatment is overwhelming.

Even with health insurance, the costs of surgery, chemotherapy, specialist visits, and prescription medications are significant. On top of this, Dawn has had to step away from work to focus fully on her health and recovery.

We are coming together as her coworkers to raise $25,000 to help ease the financial burden and allow Dawn and her family to focus on healing.

Funds raised will help cover:

• Medical treatments and hospital bills
• Prescription medications
• Groceries, utilities, and essential living expenses
• Supportive therapies to help Dawn stay strong during treatment

How funds will be managed

This fundraiser is being organized by Dawn’s coworkers on her behalf. Funds will be distributed to help cover medical and essential living expenses based on receipts submitted for treatment-related and necessary costs. This ensures transparency and responsible use of every donation.
