Some of you may remember that in 2017, we discovered that Tabitha has a brain tumor.

First, and most importantly, the tumor is benign. People in modern day America don't die from this.

This tumor was found back in 2017 when she started having some numbness in her face. She went from diagnosis to debulking in 10 days. They successfully removed part of the tumor, then radiated the rest in hopes that it would shrink, or at the very least, stop growing. The first surgery resulted in the loss of hearing in her right ear.

The radiation worked for a bit, and the tumor shrank, then maintained.

Recently, at a follow up appointment, we found out that the tumor, which she has dubbed "Shredder" ( as in the bad guy from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) is now growing. This means she will soon be going under the knife again, this time, to remove the complete remainder of the tumor.

The surgery is scheduled for June 7th.

This surgery will be more invasive than the first, with possible, and some probable, side effects, including loss of facial nerve, dizziness, fatigue, and extreme mental strain. She will have a recovery time of approximately 4-6 weeks, and will be fully off work from both her jobs, and will only be receiving partial disability payments from one job, until she is fully able to resume work.

If you know Tabitha, you know that she would go out of her way to help anyone she can, and would quite literally give the shirt off her back to anyone that would need it! Any little bit that you would be able to spare in her time of need would greatly help her and her boys, until she gets through this and beats this thing once and for all!
