Our beloved dog Cinnamon needs life saving surgery due to a tragic event that occurred yesterday. He was outside with my daughter and I when he darted across the yard into the road chasing a squirrel. He is always walked on a leash, but we weren’t taking him walking. The wind here has been very intense, and it blew the door open just enough. He got out while we were outside the garage on the side of the house, and then we saw him running towards the street barking.

A four door sedan, that I believe was an older model Honda, hit him and did not stop. Cinnamon was very lethargic and I could tell he was in pain, he couldn’t move, so I wrapped him up carefully and placed him into the car. We drove him to the vet, and they did what they could which consisted of several X-rays, iv meds and a little fluids, and they examined him carefully, and placed a Robert Jones Bandage on his left and right back leg (the Robert Jones Bandage will help while we are waiting for funds for his surgery). The vet prescribed him a couple medications to get him through this weekend, and I picked them up on the way home yesterday. His surgery costs 4
