I will be getting gastric sleeve bariatric surgery on March 29th! I've struggled with my weight all of my life, and the past few years I've put on about 100 lbs. I think this will be a great tool to help me finally get healthy!

So far I have lost 23 pounds since December 9th. My goal is to lose 12 more before surgery (eek!) and then after surgery to lose 80 over the next two years. 

I have been on (and will continue forever) a low-carb, high-protein diet. 2 weeks prior and after surgery I will be on a strictly liquid diet, then move to pureed foods like soups before getting back to "normal". Although normal eating will only be about 4-6 ounces of food at a time!

I'm starting a fundraiser and a registry to help with the cost of the surgery and some items that I'll need post-surgery! (Think of it as the wedding or baby shower gift you probably won't ever get me haha!)
