Many of you may know of our cat Nelson. Tom fostered him for 2 years during the pandemic. They have a special bond, When Tom had to go back to work(he travels for work) I decided to adopt him so he did not have to go back to the shelter which we both hated to see happen. Nelson is a very sweet happy young cat who had a rough start to his life and has had some health issues these past year. This time his life is at risk. He has developed stones & has a tear which the vet believes is in his urethra. Because of this, he has developed an infection in his abdomen. His vet bill was $700. He needs surgery ASAP, and was quoted around $10,0000! I am also getting quotes from another specialist as well. If he doesn't get this surgery he will die. We can not afford his surgery & desperately asking for donations of any amount to save him. Nelson has become a big part of our family. Thank you in advance !
