Hello, my name is Scrappy and I need some help. On Christmas day, my big brother Shadow and I jumped the fence of our yard so we could play in the snow. While we were running and playing, we both got hit by a plow truck, and I got hurt really bad. My brother and I got separated because he ran back towards home, while the man that hit us both, tried to help me. I was really scared and hurt so when I was free from the plow, I ran away as well. Someone found me and took me to this place called the Anna Shelter. They were really nice to me there, and they got in touch with my mommy and daddy to let them know that I was safe. My mommy was really scared because it was really cold that night and they couldn't find me around our house. When my daddy came to get me, the lady who was there and took care of me said that I had to go to the doctor to get my nose fixed. My daddy took me to the local animal hospital to try to get my all better, but the doctor there said that I needed a special surgery that he was not able to do.

While I was at the pet hospital the people there were really nice to me, and they kept calling my daddy to let him know what was going on. Since the doctor at the pet hospital was not able to help me, he gave me some medicine and something my mommy and daddy call the cone of shame. They both laugh at it because it looks funny on me. I keep bumping into things and get stuck on doors. I don't understand this but I know that it is supposed to keep me from getting hurt even more, so its ok. My brother and nephew are really confused by it also, and it gave me a good laugh at first hehehe.

Here is a picture of my nose. The doctor said that my nose has to be reconstructed on the right side because the little bones in my nose got crushed. So I am trying to help my daddy find the money to make me all better. I have to go to this place called Akron, Ohio for my surgery and it is expensive. I'm trying to raise $5000 to cover the cost of my surgery. My daddy called the place in Akron and they told him that it could be as little as $1500 or as much as $4500 but they would not know until they get to look at me themselves. I want this to help not only me, but the Anna Shelter as well, so my daddy and mommy said that if there was any money left over from the surgery, I was allowed to do something called a donation in my name so that other animals can get help as well. Oh and my daddy said that if I can get the surgery and get better really soon, he will take me back out in his big truck when he starts driving again, so please help me get better and make it so I can help other animals and go back in the truck with my daddy?
