I've been debating this for a couple months now, Late in September of 2024 after removing a tumor in his ear that's been causing him constant ear infections for the 2 years I've had him it was discovered that the tumor is cancerous and his entire ear canal needs to be removed. Initial consultations quoted me a little over $10,000 until I called around and the University of Illinois will accept him for half the price at $5,000. He's set for surgery on January 23rd as long as his initial screening on the 22nd go well and it hasn't spread or other complications come up.

If you've ever met the big brat you'll know he's a giant teddy bear with an attitude and sass as big as him. A gentle giant fur ball that only ever wants attention and to topple you over while you pet him while he hopes you can hold his 120 pound self. My previous dog had to be put down because of cancer and I'm not letting that happen a second time as long as I can.
