Dear Everybody,

This year has brought an overwhelming series of challenges and crises into my life—housing insecurity, job loss, and the profound and lasting grief of personal loss. Despite these adversities, I bounced back from both racism- and disability-related job loss, and I will complete my Master's in April 2024 at UCA. Recently securing a new job as a sexual health educator has been greatly affirming and relieving, but the timing of my first paycheck in the coming year leaves me in a dire financial situation.

As of now, my bank account is in the negative, and I face a month-long gap with no income to cover essential bills, medication, groceries, everyday necessities, and, most importantly, Christmas for my 5yo, A. I am setting up this personal fundraiser with the hope of raising $4,000 to alleviate the financial strain. These funds will be used to cover rent and utilities through January, ensuring a stable home for my family as I return to work. My new job will include quite a bit of travel within Pulaski County as well via my car.

Your support in this challenging time will not only lift a heavy burden but will also provide the crucial assistance needed to keep us afloat during a really intense season. Every contribution will go directly towards sustaining us over the next 4-5 weeks, as well as clearing the overdrawn balance in my bank account and past due utility balances.
