My Wish: Please Help Me Rebuild My Life So I Can Be a Mother Again
I never imagined I would be here—homeless, separated from my children, and starting over at 33 years old after giving my entire life to my family.
I’ve been with my husband since I was 16. For 17 years, I did what we agreed on—I stayed home, raised our children, and built our family while he worked. I trusted that I was secure in that life. But when our marriage ended, everything was taken from me. My home, my stability, and worst of all, my ability to be with my children.
Because I am homeless, my husband uses it against me to keep me from seeing them. I am being kept away from the very children I dedicated my life to raising. My oldest is struggling the most—he’s hurting, acting out, and now has been kicked out by his father. He’s staying with friends instead of being with me… not because I don’t want him, but because I don’t have a home to offer him. No mother should have to live with that kind of pain.
I am trying—every single day—to change my situation. I am working toward enrolling in a tech bootcamp for data science and AI software engineering so I can build a real, stable career. I am not asking for a handout—I am asking for the tools to stand on my own two feet and never have to depend on anyone again.
To do that, I need help covering the cost of school and a reliable laptop like a MacBook. Without these, I don’t have a way forward. With them, I have a real chance—not just to survive, but to rebuild, to provide, and to be present in my children’s lives again.
I don’t have family I can turn to. My family has been devastated by loss. My grandfather passed away, and my 78-year-old grandmother had to go back to work just to survive. My uncle, my two older brothers, and my niece and nephew have all passed in recent years. My family is doing everything they can just to keep going, and I cannot ask them for more.
I am completely on my own right now—but I am not giving up.
If you help me, you are not just helping one person. You are helping a mother get back to her children. You are helping me break a cycle and build a future where I can support myself, be present, and give my kids the stability they deserve.
I am asking you, from the deepest place in my heart, for a chance to rebuild my life.
Thank you
