Emergency Legal Fund: Protecting and helping my Little Hearts

The Story:

Hello kind hearts,

I am a mother reaching out to the community in an urgent, life-altering moment for my family. For safety and legal reasons, I must keep my name and the names of my children completely anonymous, but our crisis is incredibly real.

Not long ago, I made the brave choice to escape a severe domestic violence relationship to build a safe, peaceful life for my kids. However, the battle did not end when we left. My abuser recently managed to secure a temporary 50/50 custody arrangement. Right now, my children are being forced into an environment that is not safe for them, and I am watching their well-being decline.

I am fighting with everything I have to legally modify this order and protect them. To do this, I must pay a family law attorney who understands the dynamics of domestic abuse and control.

The Urgent Need:

I need to raise $10,000 as soon as possible to pay an attorney who can file motions for the children’s safety. As a single mother starting over from scratch, I simply do not have these funds on my own. I also need some help with living expenses, I am quite behind and unsure how I can catch up. I am hungry.
