Hi! If you don't know us already, we are Arturo & Lauren Rocha! From the beginning of our relationship we knew that adoption was always meant for our family. Adoption is not a decision we came to lightly, after multiple years of consideration and prayer we finally felt we had peace to whole-heartedly pursue adoption.

We have been live in the adoption process for a year as we are ready to start our family! The review of cases began and we were asked to be considered for a case. If we choose a case and that birth mother chooses us we are then considered "matched!" which we were. Unfortunately after many months of planning and expecting what was to be our first child it became a failed adoption. Though it was very difficult for us to understand at the time we know that there was a reason why it did not work out. We continue to trust God and keep our faith strong of His great timing for our family.

We ask for your continued prayers! For the child we will be adopting and bringing into our home. For the birth parents of this child and all that they may be going through. For the case workers, medical professionals, lawyers, etc. that will be involved in this adoption. & for us! We are so thrilled but know this journey will not be easy.

Lastly, due to the entire process being financially costly upwards of $50,000+ the idea of Swing for a Cause Golf Adoption Fundraiser came to be. We would be honored for your participation and donation to our cause and help be part of our journey to grow our family. The agency we have chosen is a non-profit and the majority of that amount goes to supporting the birth mother's needs, the case manager(s) time, and legal fees. While this is a huge and daunting amount, we know that this is what God has asked of us and that He will make a way.
