Last Christmas we surprised a homeless family of 4 who were living in a van in Tacoma by providing them with 3 nights in a warm hotel room (the night before Christmas.Eve, Christmas Eve and Christmas night), provided them with warm tasty food for 3 days and a home cooked Christmas dinner with all the fixings. We also surprised the kids with some special fun toys from Santa. All of the funds came from our own pockets.

This year we are hoping to expand this by doing the same for at least 2 (hopefully more) additional families (depending on what we can raise). One of our local plumbing supply companies has committed to matching the amount we raise dollar for dollar so each dollar you contribute will actually be two toward the cause.
