My name is Nina Christine Gorman (D.O.B. 11-18-57) a counselor and psychology teacher from Philadelphia, Pa. USA, a woman of peace and not affiliated with any organizations.  I am doing this campaign for my Gaza friends Munther Fathi Attia Abu Odeh (8-2-75) and Tamara Ibrahim Mohammed Abu Odeh (D.O.B. 1-13-83) and their four children 20 year old Enas, 18 year old Qusay, 16 year old Ziad and 11 year old Mohammed. I came to know the family several months ago when Tamara was posting on Meta face book inspiring pictures and messages despite the genocide and later seeking a new feeding tube for her child Osama, who was blind, mute and needed total care. She struggled for many weeks to get donations to purchase a new feeding tube and searched Gaza talking with doctors and hospitals to find it. It was  a type that was scarce in Gaza due to the near total blockade of food, medicine, electricity, fuel, and medical supplies. The day I sent someone to visit her to assist her in finding the feeding tube, little Osama died. The family was devastated and they are sorely grieving now. I thought the least I could do when they told me they needed food and water and decided to evacuate from Gaza was to do this campaign for them.

  They just want to start a new life free of fear of bombs, and hunger and worry for the children and free of struggling month after month day and after day living in a tent with no electricity or protection from the rain and cold (nearly all tents in Gaza leak and are torn when it rains). Although some more aid has entered since the ceasefire, as with clean water, they wait in long lines for food but often come away empty handed. Like nearly all children in Gaza now their children are malnourished with Munther, Tamara and Enas and sometimes Qusay or even Zaid skipping meals or sometimes days of eating so that the others can eat.

  They are very tired of this life of constant anxiety, loss, hunger and trauma and despite the love of their land, they feel they have no other choice especially since the death of Osama to evacuate to Egypt from where they can relocate and start a new life.  Please help give them a desire to carry on and not give up. No donation too small.

 My name is Munther Fathi Attia Abu Odeh. I am  49 years old from Khan Younis, Gaza of Palestine living under siege and occupation for 18 years and over a year in a war where the occupation has been trying to exterminate us. I am a man of peace and not connected with any organizations.  Before the war I was proud father who worked hard with my hands in construction business to support my family. I also helped build and maintain our house which was destroyed in bombing like most houses in Gaza and taking with it our possessions, memories and dreams.  We have been displaced many times having to run and relocate over and over to escape bombings to so called safety zones that are never safe. 

   I feel so frustrated and disgusted, feelings I am not used to since I could always support my family even though I had to work many hours a day before to do it. I love my family more than my own life.The loss of Osama affected us like nothing else before. It was so hard to see the tears of my wife and children.  We worked hard to make our little boy who was blind, deaf and mute as comfortable as we could but it was not enough since the cruel blockade took him from us. We are a strong people though and we have our faith that God is the best disposer of our affairs.  I want to take my family away from this hellscape to start a new life and then return later to our land when Gaza is rebuilt but we know that will take many years.For now, I just want all in family to survive and have a little happiness without constant fears and tears.  Tamara, Enas, Qusay, Zaid and Mohammed. Tamara and I  have made this difficult decision so that we can get out of this horror with our children, and  breathe and dream again.
