Tamie’s Road to Recovery

Hello everyone,

Tamie has a very long road to recovery.

With her daughters approval, I am starting this page for all who would like to donate to help relieve some financial stress during these next few weeks - and possibly months.

The evening of February 9th, 2026, while out getting dinner with her daughter, Birdy, Tamie went into cardiac arrest. CPR was performed for an extended period, and she was taken to St. Joseph's in Bryan, TX. She was placed into a coma Tuesday to let her body rest after such traumatic events. She was then transported to St. Luke's in Houston, TX early Thursday morning. Since being in Houston, she has made amazing progress. She was slowly woken up Friday, February 13th and is currently out of CCU/ICU and in a regular room. She is awake and talking now but still very confused about everything, rightfully so.

Birdy has been unable to work as she has been in Houston traveling back and forth between the hospital, and some funds from this will help her continue to stay by her mom's side. The majority of these funds, however, will go directly to Tamie’s medical expenses and recovery.

The road ahead is unknown but what is known is God is not ready for her yet. She is a fighter and determined to make it back home and back to her everyday life.

If you cannot donate, please stop and send up a prayer for our sweet Tamie.

Thank you to everybody who has donated, prayed, visited, or called/texted. I know Tamie, as well as Birdy and the family, truly appreciate everything!

With love,

Dallas
