Avery, lovingly nicknamed Tiny Tank, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma at the age of 10 months old and is the only known case of his kind. He bravely underwent 46 weeks of grueling treatment that has left him with many life changing side effects and has recently relapsed. Avery continues to have daily therapies and weekly medical appointments and so many unknowns. His 3 year old brother Evan is also a rockstar and supports Avery through it all. Avery's Mom, Amy, is a special education teacher and recently made the tough decision to take a year of leave and dedicate herself solely to Avery's therapies and treatment. The Quarles family will now be supported by Dad's (Corey) income. In addition, medical and therapy bills keep piling up. When Amy heard of our desire to create this fundraiser for their family, she asked that a percentage go towards funding the research of Chemo Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN), which plagues Avery on a daily basis.
