Tokio’s Healing Journey – A Plea from the Heart

Our sweet girl, Tokio, was the victim of a horrific dog attack, twice, while in the care of my ex that left her with deep wounds, unimaginable pain, and an uphill battle to survive. She was bleeding and alone before anyone found her —and by then, the damage was devastating.

Tokio isn't just a pet, she’s family. A gentle, fluffy black pup with a brave spirit, Tokio has been a constant source of love and comfort to my children and me during some of the hardest times of our lives. Seeing her suffering is heartbreaking beyond words.

We’ve already faced emergency vet visits, surgery, and now weeks of ongoing treatment and medication. The emotional toll is heavy, and the financial strain is overwhelming for a single mom trying to keep it together for her kids.

This fundraiser is for her recovery. Every dollar will go directly toward her vet bills, follow-up care, and anything she needs to heal and be safe again. We were told eventhough her wound may be healing on the outside, she may need further reconstructice surgery if there is an "iceberg effect" beneath her wound. We don't know what her future medical bills may be, but this will be a start. If you know us personally, thank you for standing with us.
